Co-op and solo

- Local split-screen: 2 players per device.
- Online: up to 4 players in total, and you can mix the two (two players on one screen with two online).
- Cross-play: not confirmed between platforms. Online play uses Epic Online Services.
- Xbox consoles: online play needs Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate. The PlayStation Store does not say whether PS Plus is required.
- No Friend’s Pass has been announced. Steam lists Remote Play Together.

What kind of game it is
An open world inspired by Northern Sweden, seen from the height of a mouse: forests, meadows, wetlands and lakes. There is no combat; threats such as owls and foxes are avoided or distracted, and when you get into trouble the witch’s magic lifts you back to safety. You gather ingredients and brew remedies at the witch’s cottage, use Froggy, a frog-shaped magic backpack, to grapple, swing and glide, and help the animals and villagers you meet. The game is built in Unreal Engine 5. See How to play for each system.
